Prepping to make platinum-palladium prints. Maybe a couple of weeks out from an actual print. Getting the negative right is 85% of the battle. I've been battling the Epson P900 for years. This is what I got the damn thing to do!

Together with a friend I spent some days doing cyanotypes again. We experimented with two-coloured cyanotypes and photographies. We used sunlight for the exposition, and as there was a lot of change between sunshine and clouds these days, the results of the process always were a surprise and hard to predict. For me the whole process feels always a bit like doing linocuts: You have an idea in your head and you start planning, but you only see in the end if it worked. I enjoyed a lot to have these days in summer, working, experimenting, playing.

The photos were made in Halle (Saale) and in Luzern, Switzerland.

C'est avec une immense joie que je viens vous annoncer ma première et future expo solo "Les souffles" à la Galerie des Hautes Lumières (@(@minimistan/Studio Spiral, Grenoble) !

"Les souffles" explore cette résonance intérieure qui surgit lorsque le regard s'abandonne, lorsqu'il n'essaie plus de saisir mais de de sentir. Dans ces instants suspendus, la montagne n'est plus seulement un décor : elle devient un espace d'écoute, un lieu de présence, de respiration profonde.

Une série d'images en tirage Lith prises dans les @dolomites en 2024.

My obsession with #cyanotype continues. I've figured out how to make big (A3) negatives, and this is a print I made of St. John in the Wilderness church at Koromiko (Between Blenheim and Picton). Opened in 1871, and apparently attended by Catherine Mansfield, it seems fitting to reproduce with a 19th Century process.
Because blue gets a bit boring, I toned it with some oak leaf extract from leaves I collected in a local park in autumn.
I hand coloured with professional watercolour pencils.
Only in a cheap frame as it gets expensive to get custom ones made for every print unless I sell something.
