Some experiments with papercuts, plants and cyanotype, refined with coloured pencil. The selfmade photo paper I used was already a bit older and reacted a bit strangely. Also, I worked with autumn sun, which is different than working with the summer sun. So, in the end the results are not perfect, and I think I will try again in summer. But still it was a lot of fun to search for interesting plants in the garden, to try around and catch some last sun rays of the year.

Together with a friend I spent some days doing cyanotypes again. We experimented with two-coloured cyanotypes and photographies. We used sunlight for the exposition, and as there was a lot of change between sunshine and clouds these days, the results of the process always were a surprise and hard to predict. For me the whole process feels always a bit like doing linocuts: You have an idea in your head and you start planning, but you only see in the end if it worked. I enjoyed a lot to have these days in summer, working, experimenting, playing.

The photos were made in Halle (Saale) and in Luzern, Switzerland.
