No #akelect, tax cuts don't pay for themselves. They increase revenue somewhat (which some conflate with being "paid for"), but not as much as is lost by the reduction. What a difference a few months makes! Last time I was here, it was snowing with 18” of new snow on the ground, but today I was in shorts. What’s not different: the importance of investing in our future. Today I chatted with a mother who has both adult and elementary aged kids. Her description of the stark differences in the educational opportunities her older children received versus those now available for her younger children was concerning.
