Watching more talk from the recent #ActivityPub conference. Here's a very interesting one that talks about bringing #groups to the fediverse, so that we could decouple hosting an instance and moderating the content. It also introduces https://bonfire.cafe, which I need to look more into because I'm really intrigued.

Dear #apConf2020 video viewers, in case you haven't known yet:
You can easily leave comments below videos using your main

Following the planning session of the (libre, virtual) ActivityPub Conference 2020
I wanted to say 🙌 thankyou to

The current working title for that software is Hash2Pub. The final goal for that project is to have a component that runs alongside to the main AP server and talks to it using the existing ActivityPub relay mechanism. But all these relay instances build a fully-decentralised DHT infrastructure to manage the assignment, re...
Talking to some guy on
about the DID stuff we discussed at #ActivityPubConf. He seems to be very blockchain-focussed.
Shall I invite him over to SocialHub or do we want to avoid #BlockchainBros there?
(at least he doesn't seem to be a die-hard AnCap libertarian)
@kaniini While your approach is very different and it's ok to try that out, it would've been really awesome to have you around at the #ActivityPubConf discussions about OCap and decentralisation.
Not complaining, you surely had good reasons, but still a pity.
