2. Who or what is this not for?

#Owncast is not for video conferencing or any use case where multiple people are wanting to see video of each other. It’s also not a good choice if you have tight real-time requirements as HLS video has inherent delays.

#BBB is a good choice and is #4opens yes we do have to do manual posting of #AP not a big issue. Maybe we can ask #FOSShost Agen?

The #APconf event is lacking focus and energy from our "cats" so we will likely have a #fedifourm I talked to these guys during the last event, they are new 'native" from the #twittermigration that
bring the "normal" power politics with them.

An event that pushes liberal #NGO agendas is fine as a part of a balance.

Though we have our "native" libertarian cats so the balance will be a challenge that we need to work on #socialhub

Under which funding path would we apply for support for this ongoing events #APconf

I can't a place to fit this in the funding agender?

Two years ago, for #APconf, I gave a talk about the #ActivityPub ecosystem that was really a talk about the kind of social software infrastructure I think we we need.

In particular, I talk about software infrastructure under our control that optimizes for rich and fulfilling lives.

It's a real broad vision, but I think it might be interesting for people on the network today to watch.
