There was already an attempt to do it - #Hash2Pub . I think there is actually a question, do fediverse wants (or needs) to be indexed. It could make whole network more vulnerable for censorship, for example

Ich bin auch sehr dafür dass politische Aktionsaccounts ins Fediverse kommen, hier müssen die aber durch follows besser vernetzt sein damit die Posts zuverlässig fließen.
