@kgoetz That's a major reason why I chose zeroes.ca as my instance. It has a 5000-character limit for posts, far more than most Mastodon instances. (Check out my pinned posts — at least one of them is very close to 5000 characters.) And zeroes.ca happily accepts users from outside Canada. Please do note, however, that it is #ZeroCOVID themed — it prohibits things like #COVID19 denialism / minimization, #antivax advocacy, etc.

@mfurlan @leechindustries Agreed. In fact, despite being #ZeroCOVID, I do accept one claim made by the denialists, namely, that #COVID19 is a cold. They aren't so happy when I point out that POLIO is ALSO a cold, is asymptomatic or causes only cold-like symptoms in 99% of those that it infects, and is closely related to other enteroviruses that cause more typical colds, just as SARS-CoV-2 is closely related to other coronaviruses that cause more typical colds.

Not a single political party in BC cares about #CovidSafety. All of them have opted to go along with #eugenics #PublicHealth policies. Further marginalizing people like me, my Mom, every disabled person, every elderly person, every child & every cautious citizen who is still trying to prevent getting sick from #covid & other #AirborneIllnesses. We have been abandoned by every single politician in BC & federally too. This is government folks doing passive #dehumanization of us.
