Today, I attended 4 panels & a workshop at #WriteHive 2025. The workshop, which just concluded, was Creating a #Villain (with author Ayana Gray, moderated by Kota Rayne). The first 2 panels were Beyond Amazon: Alternatives for #IndieAuthors (with panellists Sylvester Barzey, K. Malady & Darío Aguilar Peregrina, moderated by Alma Raymer) and Troubling Tropes (with panellists U.M. Agoawike, Camilla Andrew, A.P. Hawkins & #RJJoseph, moderated by Patchree Jones). #writing

The same day (Saturday 12th July), I also attended the panels #LGBTQ History in Publishing (the panellists being Kristin Jacques, Megan Manzano and Paulette Kennedy, with @historyneverwas as moderator) and #Gothic Fiction: Atmosphere and Expectations (the panellists being Brian Lambert, Camilla Andrew, Paulette Kennedy and Tonja K. Johnson, with @authorhien as moderator).

And I attended R.M. Virtues' presentation on 'Reality vs #Fiction: Life of a #Pirate!' (with moderator Brad Lee). #WriteHive

I've been attending #WriteHive 2025 this weekend and enjoying what's been on offer. Yesterday, I attended two workshops on writing table-top #roleplayingGame one-shots and another on writing #poetry (led by Rachanee Lumayno, TJ McLaughlin and Lourdes Leiner, respectively). S. Morgan Burbank moderated the twoTTRPG video sessions while @historyneverwas moderated the poetry workshop. As an exercise, I wrote my first ekphrastic poem, something I'd been thinking of doing for a while.
