Annie Hsh 👾🖖☕In the 2025 'Toxic Avenger' movie, in the updated version of the diner scene from the 1984 original, there's an instance where a thug leans near a perfectly chill and unbothered Black woman, and keeps asking her "are you triggered?", only for him and his friend to completely go rabid in anger after she calmly calls them shitheads.
And every time I see someone complaining about snowflakes, wokeness, fragile, "easily triggered" or "easily offended" people, I think of that scene, because I've never seen a more perfect depiction of the irony of how easily riled-up the people who get an ego trip by trying to rile up others actually are.
