Le Pen who tried to rehabilitate French Nazi collaborators and called Nazi gas chambers "a detail" of WW2. The far right in Europe today is less overtly Nazi than #GOP. French far-right leader Jordan Bardella on Friday cancelled his planned speech at the right-wing Conservative Political Action Conference in the US after US President Donald Trump's former advisor Steve Bannon appeared to make a fascist salute on stage Thursday night.
Day 31, 2/19/25: The #Felon administration started off with a blatantly unconstitutional and racist bid to end birthright citizenship. The Supreme Court ruled way back in 1898 (United States v. Wong Kim Ark) that the government cannot refuse to recognize the birthright citizenship of people born on US soil to non-citizen parents. But the Felon isn't about to start obeying the law now, his whole deal is breaking laws and getting away with it.
Day 30, 2/18/25: The #Felon administration has put #oligarchs in charge of our government. How efficient is the #oligarchy at driving government efficiency? Not very.
Elon the #oligarch, just like the Felon he purchased, is good at taking credit for things he didn't do. He is taking credit for cutting $8 billion out of a contract on which the government has spent $2.5 million since it was signed two and a half years ago.

Day 29, 2/17/25: The #Felon administration continues with its #coup. Elon the #oligarch is determined to get access to sensitive data from the Social Security Administration, and the acting commissioner has resigned rather than comply with the #oligarchs leading this coup. The #oligarchy has been dreaming about damaging Social Security since its inception, and it looks like they have their best shot now.

Day 28, 2/16/25: The #Felon administration is destroying America’s strongest alliance abroad. After angering Canada and Denmark with needless aggression, #Trump is now killing America’s influence in Europe. He cut out Europe and Ukraine from the negotiations about Putin’s war, and already gave huge concessions to Putin getting nothing in return. These are actions that will undermine US national security for a long time to come.

Day 27, 2/15/25: The #Felon is now openly saying that he doesn’t have to follow the law as long as he claims to be saving the country. When #Nixon tried to say that anything he did was legal per se because he was president, #Republicans of the day refused to go along with that #fascist claim. Today the #GOP is happy to go along with #Trump and his #coup. The #republic is in grave danger.

Day 26, 2/14/25: The #Felon administration’s blatant corruption of justice continues. #Trump just loves letting corrupt politicians off the hook. After several conservative prosecutors resigned in protest rather than drop charges against Eric Adams, the Felon’s personal criminal lawyer Emil Bove who is now #2 at DoJ signed the formal request to the judge to drop charges. Two other lawyers who obeyed: Edward Sullivan and Antoinette Bacon.

Day 25, 2/13/25: The #Felon administration is destroying the Justice department. They want to drop #bribery charges against Eric Adams because he offered to help with immigration enforcement in return. The acting DA, a conservative Trump appointee who clerked for Scalia, resigned in protest. #Trump's goons then tried to get officials in DC to do the deed, and five of them resigned instead of going along with this blatant corruption of justice.

Day 24, 2/12/25: The #Felon handed another major victory to global #oligarchy by siding with Russian #oligarch Putin and cutting out democratic Ukraine from talks about its fate. When these #oligarchs get together, they usually find a way to help each other at the expense of the little people. The full price for the Felon's betrayal of Ukraine will eventually be paid by our NATO allies in eastern Europe.

As the #oligarchy faces some push back in federal courts against their blatantly illegal actions, they are now trying to just ignore the courts and push ahead with their #fascist program by dismissing the judiciary as illegitimate or corrupt.
