I found an interesting #trello alternative - #wekan (https://wekan.fi/) and decided to try it on only to found this monstrosity of docker-compose: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wekan/wekan/refs/heads/main/docker-compose.yml why oh why most of the "dynamic languages" projects have to have so absurd understanding of how #docker works?

Same with #pixelfed -- can't wrap my head around how can anyone thing that this: https://docs.pixelfed.org/running-pixelfed/prerequisites.html (along with constantly making sure every dependency is up-to-date) is "better" than simply running `docker compose up -d`… 🙄

When it comes to #ProjectManagement software, #Trello, #Asana, #Jira and #Notion are all proprietary, and #Wekan as a #FOSS option has had untapped potential since forever. So it's nice to see that #Basecamp's developers released #Fizzy's source code on GitHub. I'm just hesitant to call it #OpenSource because the license seems... hmm. What is considered 'directly competing with #37signals'? If I selfhost it free of charge for a NGO that might have paid for it?

The maintainer, Lauri Ojansivu (@xet7), is doing a fantastic job! For several versions now, there have been massive UX and functional improvements.

On cherche des recommandations de logiciels libres de gestion de projets européens SIMPLES qui permettent de gérer une vue kanban ET une vue de type gantt (pour pouvoir voir l'enchaînement des épisodes à venir et planifier les sur quoi on travaille et quand) . Actuellement on utilise #wekan, qui est bien mais qui ne fait pas la vue Gantt...

On peut tout faire simplement sur #anytype , mais on regarde du côté des alternatives web ou autres.
