I had a lovely lunch al fresco with my youngest at the Lincoln Park Zoo yesterday and we both liked watching the swirls at the bottom of the waterfall.

I only discovered this small rock park with a path through the woods and lovely waterfall that's next to the North Park Village Nature Center a few years ago. It's not marked on the map but easy to find walking towards the pond. The path climbs a little shaded hill with lots of rocks for climbing. One time I met a deer when I rounded a corner which was surprising for both of us.
