If I can manage to sneak up on them outside the fence, the Green Herons hold still for photos at least.

In the second photo it looks like he's staring at me, annoyed. He probably was. They fly to the other end of the lake if they see me.

I want to film one catching a fish but I can only stand there so long before I give up & move on. Meanwhile, they're still standing on one leg. 👏

This week I added a new #lifer after spotting 5 Blue-winged Teals out on the lake. 🏆

They were too far for photos, but today I found them on the golf course lake.

Second contact with the Crows. Are they the same Crows? No idea.

Though they were cautious, they stayed close and didn't fly off when I threw the peanuts.

Imagine my delight when I discovered there is a second beaver at the golf course lake.

A beaver family! I'm hoping for lots of beaver babies to wreak havoc on the area. 🦫🦫🦫🌳🌳🌳

And what is the second beaver wearing on its head? S/he is now dubbed the goofball.
