Good morning Mastodonians! Well, I survived yesterday's meeting, with no bumps or bruises. I made a few goofs in preparing but the boss either doesn't care or has forgiven me. I worried quite a bit, but that's life with anxiety brain.
We had a violent thunderstorm pass through last night, and the temperature dropped by about 30 degrees. The brutal heat has gone (for now) and his morning it's cooler, if dreadfully humid, and overcast. More rain to come for the next week, it seems, which we need.

I am sitting in the waiting room at the dentist's office as MDMRN Twin 2 (11) is getting two teeth extracted.
So now I wait...then head home. The dentist recommended she have popsicles. I can make that happen.

Had a hearty breakfast at home, which consisted of a heaping pile of scrambled eggs with homemade bacon pieces and spinach, alongside a slice of the homemade cheese sourdough bread I purchased from a coworker's daughter. That, plus #coffee, had me wanting to stay home to enjoy the day, but work calls. Thankfully, the rest of my coffee is here to keep me company.

Finally arrived at Monday 4 (sometimes known as Thursday) and looking forward to the extended weekend, one for Memorial Day, and the other because I took off Tuesday (not "Monday 2" in this instance, but more like "Sunday Revisited"

It has been very rainy here. Yesterday felt like non-stop rain. Today looks like a gray overcast day, but thankfully the temps have dropped to Spring normal. (I DON'T need nasty ass August humitidy in May!)
