Piloted the Stormcast Eternals Spearhead to a tie today versus the new Ironjawz Spearhead. I now completely understand why some of the unit start off the board and aren't allowed on until turn 3, they absolutely destroy whatever you point them at. Fun game and look forward to a rematch!

Another marathon paint session (I'm beginning to remember why I don't do these anymore) and the Spearhead: Fire and Jade terrain set is complete! I tried a couple different techniques with this one, mainly because I wanted to see if I could produce a "warmer" stone than the typical grey I see these painted in.

It took all day, but I'm calling these done. I used them as a test for the color scheme for this spearhead and it came out fantastic. Trust the process.

Continuing to crack away at these, but I must say: now that I've built them, Dominion had some really nice models even for push-fit. Thankfully, after this it's only 10 infantry plus Yndastra to have a full Stormcast Eternals Spearhead.

It's been a hot minute since I've painted Marines, but had a buddy ask to borrow 20 Reivers for a tournament. I said yes, but then realized only 10 were built and painted. Oh well, I guess speed painting Reivers to battle-ready is the way to go.
I am fully aware of the absurdity of putting snow texture paste on a miniature base with 6 inches still on the front lawn.
