The workshop will explore the role of spatial design in games and its contribution to a ludic epistemology. How do games create and structure possibility spaces? What forms of knowledge emerge through spatial configurations in play?

There is a lack of space for sport in Tokyo. Team and ball sports in particular can only be practiced in a few places. Efficient use of space is therefore a must, especially for schools. One of my university's high schools, which is located right next to the campus, uses the schoolyard and roofs for team sports.
