This is a temporary logo that @183231bcb drew in @inkscape . Our ultimate goal is still to commission @LynnSenpai to draw a wiki logo when she isn't too busy.
Note: If you view our wiki using the (non-default) Vector 2010 skin, the logo does not appear correctly in the upper-left-hand corner. We are looking in to it. It renders correctly in the favicon, as well as if you are using the default skin (Vector 2022).

Neville HobsonResolved - the issue that forced #Wikipedia to always show itself in the old #vectorlegacy skin rather than the new #vector2022 one was caused by a conflict with the 'Modern for Wikipedia' v1.25 Chrome extension I was using. Disabled it, and Wikipedia now displays as I have configured in Settings > Appearance 🏄♂️
Trying to use the really nice new look and feel aka #vector2022 on #wikipedia. When I set this in Appearance > Settings, it reverts back to #vectorlegacy.
Every URL appends "?useskin=vector" to it in Chrome browser on Windows 11 (on left in screenshot, Edge on right). Every time. It doesn't happen on Edge.
I've deleted cookies in Chrome, emptied cache, no effect. Anyone with ideas on how to fix this?

All in all, this version brings the great Vector skin in line with modern design, and in line with the design of the Wikipedia app (which has been out for a while now).
As a quite extreme power user myself I indeed do not use it as you mentioned (although I might in the future), simply because it breaks my deep-wired muscle memory. But for everyone else - I think this new design is much better.

All in all, this version brings the great Vector skin in line with modern design, and in line with the design of the Wikipedia app (which has been out for a while now).
