À l'occasion de la Semaine de la Francophonie, Wikimédia France et Sorbonne Université avec la direction des Archives, Bibliothèques et Collections muséales (ABC) organisent le samedi 21 mars 2026, sur le site de Jussieu, une journée d'action et de réflexion autour d'un enjeu majeur : la place des contenus francophones dans l'écosystème numérique à l'heure de l'intelligence artificielle générative.

Wikipedia is now my best internet search engine, the default in my browser.
But for my purposes, finding an article or topic in one or another language of Wikipedia will usually lead me to an appropriate url within 3 clicks - often the exact citation, person, or company I for which was looking.
Otherwise I fall back on mojeek.com, and it's a bit rough still.

Die Vielseitigkeit der Wikimedia-Projekte als Eckpfeiler der OER-Landschaft
Hintegrund Dieses Archiv trägt zur Gestaltung eines Workshops zum Thema "Die Vielseitigkeit der Wikimedia-Projekte als Eckpfeiler der OER-Landschaft" bei, welcher Teil der OER-Konferenz 2025 vom 13.-14.5. in Jena ist. Zusammenfassung Die Wikimedia-Bewegung hat mit Wikipedia und ihren Schwesterprojekten wie Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons oder Wikisource eine Wissensbasis geschaffen, die sich auf vielseitige Art und Weise in Lehr- und Lernprozesse einbinden und an sie anpassen lassen. Durch ihren kollaborativen Ansatz, ihre offene Lizensierung und eine sowohl sprach- als auch fachübergreifende Natur in Kombination mit globaler Reichweite haben sich diese Projekte als Eckpfeiler für offene Bildungsressourcen etabliert. Der Workshop wird Einblicke in diese Vielfalt geben, das Zusammenspiel zwischen offenen Inhalten, offener Infrastruktur und offener Community wird erkundet, die relevanten offenen Lizenzmodelle werden besprochen sowie anhand praktischer Beispiele einige Chancen und Herausforderungen der aktiven oder passiven Nutzung von Wikimedia-Projekten in Bildungskontexten beleuchtet. Wer möchte, kann direkt einige Nutzungsvarianten ausprobieren.
