Almost an hour later, Iβve decided to give up trying for now.
Sometimes a coffee and catching up here is enough to allow me to get back to sleep in the morning.

Disturbed sleep/difficulty getting to sleep the last few nights.
Itβs 04:15 and Iβve been awake for an hour and a half, and it doesnβt feel like Iβm about to go back to sleep.
Same thing last night (both nights slow release melatonin helped me to get to sleep, but then I wake up in the middle of the night) β and the night before that I lay in bed from about 22:00 till after 03:00 trying to get to sleep and failing miserably.
Listening to relaxing music β or otherwise non-relaxing music which Iβve fallen asleep to for decades β hasnβt been helping.
Tonightβs middle-of-the-night fixation is βAIβ (LLMs, really) in my highly regulated/highly technical industry, sustainability issues, deskilling, etc.
At least I now have a few hundred words worth of points I want to cover jotted down for the work blog post Iβve been meaning to write for a few months.
Iβd rather be dreaming, though.
