I was reminded that today is the 89th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street, when the Jewish, communist and working class inhabitants of the East End in London united to fight with the police and the black shirts to stop the fascists marching through their neighborhood. They effectively brought to an end the rise of Oswald Mosley and his "British Union Of Fascists".
We really shouldn't have to be going through all that shit again!

@ju_and_the_cats I hear yaβ¦ I too often feel frustrated & defeated, but fighting disinformation & supporting the good guys (monetarily & otherwise) is way better than doing nothing. Although weβre nowhere near out of the woods, I am at least heartened that most Trumpist election deniers lost in the midterms. Gotta celebrate when possible & recharge for the long fight ahead.
