Badnje veče / evening before Orthodox Christian Xmas : but for nonbelievers it’s just another winter day :)

We are more-less snowed in , near #LikaLodge : just two dogs, one cat & two humans : with some friends who might or not drop by, plus internet & tv mercifully working . Most importantly : we have enough firewood to keep warm! Food is a bit short in supply, good for keeping lean ;)

It’s a great test for #collapse preppers from #UnCiv ;) I’m loving it!

Well I suppose I should go to sleep or something. I'm tired, depressed, and annoyed, so ya' know the Owlbear is gonna have a great time in the Dreamlands. Whatever. Weighted blanket here I come!

I've been enjoying this whole Open source game thing, so I think I'll do it the rest of the week.

Unciv is a 4x game (that's eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate, in case you didn't know) where you develop a civilization from a few nomads up through the space age.

Heavily inspired by Civilization V (otherwise known as The Best Civilization Game That Isn't III), Unciv eschews the fancy models for a flat 2D look that's easier to parse than the busier, more flashy commercial games that inspired it. And like those games, it's easy to get into, but hard to put down — and even harder to master.

So go on and conquer the world. You know you want to.
