New #USNWR law school ranking, the #Biden administration’s pollution plan seems lackluster, George #Santos is going nowhere, #Florida targets teachers’ union, and #PhoenixSuns broadcaster bankruptcy.
Institutions should publish the data that they provide to #UniversityRankings organisations.
Students/applicants/some funders use rankings despite oversimplification etc. Withdrawing, as US law schools and others from #USNWR, is likely a good response but leaves a vacuum.
Research-grade data might support a better system, #OpenScience style.

Update. I won't keep extending this thread indefinitely. But I do want to add that #HarvardMedicalSchool just joined #HarvardLawSchool in refusing to take part in the #USNWR #rankings.
