1. Trains incl. Shinkasen (JR Line + Shinkasen): 3hr 10min ¥ 16,370 incl. seat reservation
2. Travel by car incl. ETC (Electronic Toll Collection): 7hr 18min ¥ 13,200 + Gas
3. Travel by car & avoidance of ETC: 13hr 9min

Btw. you can use your Shinkansen ticket on all JR-Lines in your starting area (e.g. Tokyo area) to go to your Shinkansen station (e.g. Tokyo station) without extra payment.
