I started knitting this cardigan in November last year, albeit slowly. Decided to get serious and have been working flat out on it since April 14th.

I *might* just about finish it by my deadline (this Thursday), but I've had time for no other projects for the last two months and my hands hate me.

Just the ribbing and seaming and blocking to go, but seriously, how are other people cranking out these big projects so fast? I do not understand.

Gonna reward myself with a chonky project next, I think 😅

I've done well, but it's also only about a third done and let's just say I am so very not on track for the planned finish date at all!

Finally getting some proper knitting time after a week off falling further and further behind on this cardigan project.

I'm currently 79 rows behind where I need to be to finish on time, but last night that number was 86 so I'll take it.

Going to try and stay up for #Monsterdon later too so will do some extra rows to help keep me awake! For now, a somewhat frustrating start to the evening's snooker, but I blame John Parrott for jinxing it.

It's another #WIPWednesday, and my big video plans for this week have fallen by the wayside (haven't had much of a voice to record with!) but I did at least remember to take this pic before it got dark so that's a win.

Continuing with the few stitches every day challenge on my main cross stitch project, and I also finished the second sleeve of this blue cardigan and have made a good start on the front sections.

The cardigan progress spreadsheet tells me I need to do an unsustainable number of rows per day to get it finished in time...

Would love to say this is how I'm spending the afternoon, but in reality I managed maybe 20 minutes before the fear of wasps had me scurrying back indoors.

I was a Really Big Girl yesterday and managed to get a video published despite feeling awful.

So today is going to be #knitting, #speedpuzzling videos, and excessive amounts of tea. I'll pay for it with extra work later ofc, but it's needed right now.

The last few days was the "crippling depression, avoid everyone and everything and curl up into a ball and cry" phase of my post-social-event cycle, but as you can tell by the fact I'm tooting again the worst has now passed. Phew 🎉

Let's see if I can finish the second sleeve of my #TopperCardigan by the end of the weekend...

The start of sleeve two is coming along nicely, but I'll definitely need to get a wriggle on if I want to wear this cardigan on holiday in June!

After #knitting somewhat adventurously for 11 years, I've just finished my first ever sleeve cap! You can tell it's my first, because I've absolutely no idea how to take a good photo of it, but I promise it's more symmetrical in real life than it looks here.

So that's first sleeve complete on my #TopperCardigan project after *checks notes* three and a half months. I'm hoping to have this wearable by summer, hmm, something's not quite adding up there 😅

215s-02 Topper Cardigan by Pierrot, but be warned it's a Japanese style pattern (ie all charts and schematics, ie an adventure!)

Emergency lace knitting surgery where I well and truly mucked up four rows ago, while I wait for today's video to render.

Progress update on the fancy cardigan!

Yes, this is almost a full week. Yes it's about six inches. Yes I am enjoying it enough that I'm not worried about how long it'll take. Yet.

Oh also I called this pattern "Topper Cardigan" the other day but techincally it's "215s-02 Topper Cardigan", so there we go. Keeping my hashtag the same though!
