I do really wish for #illumos to be more #successful, but the matter of fact is that those big, ex-#Sun customers that could've backed it up finamcially jumped ship over to #Linux and #FreeBSD a decade ago when #Oracle took over and #enshittified #Solaris, canceled #OpenSolaris and told everyone to GTFO...

Last time I checked #Nexenta was still around and kickin' but they can't compete with the millions if not billions of $ that made #FreeBSD okay and #Linux great...
