Very insightful and something that really turned me off from the game. I used to be a Raid Main Tank and loved tanking when the game was new-ish. But the greater expectations of perfection and optimization even in random dungeons has fully killed my interest in it.

Wenn ich das viel größer denke (inkl. Windkraft), stellt sich die Frage, ob man so nicht auch die Dunkelflaute (die ja dann gar keine mehr ist) überbrücken kann:
Massive PV-Installation weit über den Bedarf hinaus.
Nebeneffekt:
An Tagen mit normaler oder hoher Sonneneinstrahlung haben wir so viel Strom übrig, dass wir den Überschuss problemlos in H2 umwandeln und für Stahlindustrie & Co. nutzen können.
Q: Wie weit muss der Preis für PV-Module fallen, dass sich das lohnt?
Selbst wenn ich ganz konservativ rangehe und mit lediglich 10 % (bei 50 kWp) durchschnittlicher Effizienz an schlechten Tagen und nur 6 Stunden Helligkeit rechne, sind das noch immer 30 kWh Ertrag.
Klingt fast schon zu gut, um wahr zu sein, denn das würde bedeuten, dass rechnerisch 100 % Autarkie drin wären.
(Ich erwarte, dass ich rechnerisch 32 kWh/d benötige.)
