I just received a new (new for me) scam text message. I live in Nevada and there is no such statute here. There is, however, one in the State of Utah, and it describes DUIs. If you get a message like this one, do not open the link inside the message.

Going back to communicating via text message. WhatsApp is a no go. Signal leaves messages somewhere and then they get dragged out when you send another message. Might even start ringing people again.

@nuintari Do you have any recommendations for a #texting app? I'm (unfortunately) still on Google Messages. While the #RCS and text-from-a-web-browser features are nice, it's (1) Google and (2) incredibly bloated. Several hundred MBs for a #SMS app.

The RCS is important because if someone using an iPhone sends me a pic or video, it's pixelated and the audio quality is horrendously reduced.
