Android デバイスの「RCS（Rich Communication Services）」機能を補助するための「システム サービス」アプリ「Carrier Services」、実は 2025 年後半にその役目を終えていた模様。Android 用「Carrier Services」アプリ v20250826_00_RC00.phone アップデートのアプリファイルを解析した結果、アプリの根幹となる「application」タグ内にて「android:enabled="false"」となっていることを確認。「RCS」機能自体が Android OS や「Google メッセージ」アプリ内などに組み込まれたことで、「Carrier Services」アプリの役目を終えたと予想。
