Question:
Can one set up a Torre t on their own computer and only share it with specific people? I'm basically looking for a more robust way to send largish files to a friend and not involve corp clouds or making my own server.
Thanks!

Hi all, this is a continuation of my question on an Android web browser that can limit the amount of data used.

Another question I have is if there is an app out there that can monitor daily data usage by app? Preferably can tell the difference between data and wifi. My phone has one, but it's by the month. I want to see day to day what's going on if possible. Again, FOSS preferred, but I'll take not ad ridden if that's what exists.
Also, is there a way to make a button that will take me right to the Data screen where the turn wifi off is? That'd be more helpful than airplane mode.

At the moment I'm using #Ironfox with heavy uBlock limiters on. Not sure how effective it is.
I did learn yesterday that Mastodon requires Javascript to run.
lite.duckduckgo.com is a super minimalist version of DDG that I think also nixes their AI junk.

Hey #AskFedi I've got a question. I *just* got data after years, but it's a small plan. Are there any browsers out there (not chrome) that can reduce the amount of data used from websites? Like, granularly block images or whatever? thanks. #WebBrowser #AskToDon
