one of my filers is a #Synology #NAS; the 918+/apollolake using #btrfs.

i *still* hate the way synology implements btrfs but as i was deactivating the cache drives due to exhaustion, i noticed that apparently i only rebooted the damned thing like 8 times since i installed the disks.

Voilà voilà. Il est temps de dire adieu à #Synology ...
J'ai commencé ma migration matérielle et logicielle il y a bientôt 2 ans pour un #NAS diy et je ne le regrette pas.
#Proxmox, #TrueNAS, #Nextcloud ... tout cela offre tellement plus de diversités et de possibilités dans des univers moins contraints ! (Moins user friendly ok ... mais le friendly à une forte tendance à rimer avec captivity ces derniers temps ! )
