Anyone know how to revert the horrendous new #Firefox #Android menu design?

It is slow, clumsy and it is even harder to reach extension icons than before.

And extensions. Are. The. Only. Reason. To. Use. Firefox. (Apart from Privacy, if you harden it a lot).

I couldnt find an about:config to revert the menu redesign. #Ironfox showed a menu for that for some time.

OMG, Librewolf now has JPEG XL support — complete with animation, transparency and colour management! 😲

Most likely thanks to new Rust implementation in mainline Firefox 🤔

Sadly, #IronFox is nothing like that and still doesn't have even the most basic support. Most likely, it's still a nightly feature.

I think I have a build environment for IronFox somewhere, but I'm a lazy ass and I'm not sure I'm up to going through all that again.

Can someone build an .apk with nightly switch removed?

Besides latest security fixes from #mozilla there is a bunch of updates from #konform #browser. To name a few:

- Reorganized Security Settings with new global configuration for WASM, JIT, WebRTC, WebGPU, Geolocation, DOM Push, etc...

- Security Settings also expose UI for enabling First-Party Isolation (same behavior as Tor Browser) and tweaking Enhanced Tracking Protection.

- Bundled depropped Multi-Account Containers allows configuring per-container proxies and makes container tabs part of core browser experience without having to install telemetry-laden addons.

- Profile Import now supports importing profiles from #firefox and compatible #browsers (#firefox_esr, #floorp, #ironfox, #librewolf, #midori, #palemoon, #waterfox, #zenbrowser)

- Spoofing of Navigator.sendBeacon.

- #privacy improvements and defense-in-depth

- Various bugfixes and minor improvements
