Pixies were great, the crowd not so much, but that's what I always say. They played 29 songs with barely a break. Joey played a guitar solo using his hat and then just his thumb on the bare cable, demonstrating how he's a funny guy and more interesting that someone who can just play a bunch of notes really fast.

Getting to see Kim Deal was a treat. I'll be honest when I say her solo album isn't really for me, which is fine and I don't mean to detract from her work. Her voice is amazing as ever. It was fun to see her having fun, but it was especially fun to get to hear one of my favorite songs of all time, Safari.
