My #USA #Election2024 ballot was shipped on Saturday, 21 Sept. Let's see if it makes it! Its final destination is a county courthouse in Northwestern #Minnesota.

Today, on 26 Sept., it left the facility in #Troutdale, #OR en route to #Collierville, #TN. Assuming it is aboard a truck taking the shortest route it will cross #Oregon, dip into #Utah, cross #Wyoming, #Nebraska, angle SE across #Missouri, cut through #Arkansas into #Tennessee.

That's 900 miles S of destination!

I got an alert for a multiple alarm structure/vegetation fire in #Fairview on Watch Duty (got notifications set for #Multnomah and neighboring counties).

Local news sites KGW/KOIN/KATU etc. are reporting a small plane (per FAA a twin-engine Cessna 421C) crash near the #Troutdale airport.

No info on how many were on the plane--hoping the residents of the townhouses made it out safely. #PDX #aviation #Portland
