From futuristic to retro - just transferred at Footscray from shiny new train to Z-class tram.

Seems so much quicker getting to Footscray via the new Metro Tunnel. Not having to go round the city loop saves time, at least psychologically. :)

🇫🇷 Ce soir, quelques photos de la "Thüringer Waldbahn" un tramway vicinal qui relie Gotha-Hbf à Bad Tabarz et son antenne de Waltershausen-Bahnhof à Waltershausen-Gleisdreieck.

En septembre 2002, les tramways de fabrication tchèque Tatra étaient omniprésents aidés par quelques rames Duewag rachetées d'occasion à des réseaux ouest-allemands.

🇬🇧 Tonight, a few photos from the "Thüringer Waldbahn" a long distance tramway that joins Gotha-Hbf with Bad Tabarz and its branch from Waltershausen-Bahnhof to Waltershausen-Gleisdreieck.

In September 2002, the Czech-made Tatra Tramway vehicles operated the service helped by a a few Duewag véhicle bought second hand from West-German Networks.
