Nice to see the tram line being extended in Canberra. Here you can see it running between the 1920s Sydney Building and Melbourne Building, two of the oldest structures in the city.

#TfL has published a redacted report on the procurement of 24 new #Croydon Tramlink trams. Six manufacturers took part in the pre-qualification process, with five meeting the required standards and progressing to the tender stage.
The £385 million contract covers the supply of new #trams, technical support and spare parts. Bids were assessed against financial, technical, quality, safety, cyber security and operational requirements.
One bidder was disqualified after failing to meet several criteria, while the remaining five were shortlisted. The supplier selection report was approved in July 2024.
