#ChrisPappas, a Congressman from #NewHampshire, just spammed me about _his_ Senate campaign, also through #SparkPost, also in violation of their Acceptable Use Policy.
I have sent his staff a response similar to the one I sent Brian Bengs, and also sent a similar complaint to SparkPost.
These fucking politicians who think the rules don't fucking apply to them (certainly the _laws_ don't, they've seen to that by exempting politicians from anti #spam laws!) piss me the hell off.

<rant> Worked on an HTML email with a little bit of CSS styles in #SparkPost today. I have one template for which this is working, but another template where I am basically doing the same where the styles are not taken into account in my Gmail web client. Why is CSS never working the way you expect it to work? </rant>
@jik I only give out a mailbox that I don't read for this precise reason. But for some reason a politician in a state on the opposite coast has been using a spamcannon service (#sparkpost) to send my work mailbox a spam a day and I cannot get them to do the slightest thing about it. (Unfortunately we implemented SRS at work so I can't easily reject the spam in SMTP.)

So I was looking into #Mailgun, because #Sparkpost is ending its free plan. But Mailgun wants a credit card to verify you. I have a prepaid credit card, but that is not accepted by Mailgun (remember that in the Netherlands credit cards are not that easy to get).

So does anyone know of a good alternative?I need max. 3000-4000 messages per month.

Email:

"On May 14, 2019, we adjusted our plans and pricing to more accurately reflect the value that users get from SparkPost. We’re shipping new features faster than ever and we believe that this pricing is fair and in line with what is being offered in the market.

As part of these changes, we will be deprecating our old free plans. On or before September 15, 2019, you will need to login to your SparkPost account to select from our current plans. …"

According my current ~3500 mails per month usage it will be $30 per month (1st year $20 p/m).

Any advice?! #Mailgun? ...?

@G_Dog1985 Well done, I'm using #sparkpost because I don't want to deal with the headache of a self-hosted mail server :)
