Yesterday was a beautiful day in the 80Fs (27C). I took my granddaughter to the park to meet up with her friends and I took a nice long walk. Today we’re starting off with sun, but rain will be here by lunchtime. Perfect for an afternoon of reading on the sofa.

It being the Christian Resurrection day or the arrival of the bunny basket of goodies, you celibrate #today( or both 😋👌), Happy Easter morning to you.👋

It's a cold , wet n rainy 60 degrees Sunday morning with no prospects of seeing the sun #today. 🥴
But, I got up extra early anyway to check out what the Easter Bunny brought me. 🐣🐰

But, I'm sad to say that evidently, us kids hiding out in old people bodies don't make it on his basket drop-off list.😯

Nothin nowhere n just the few chocolate kisses left by the wife, she has not yet devoured, sitting on the kitchen table in a mostly empty dish. 😏

And NO. I am not at all brave nor so crazy enough to take them for my own. This little kid in an old man body suit hasn't survived this long by being so stupid. 🥴

So, no Easter Bunny baskets of treats for me, I guess. But, maybe, if I ask really nicely...🤔
Yeah, no. I don't see that happening either. 😁

The wife says it will be much cheaper after the bunny bounces through. So, all is not lost just yet.

Though I was really looking forward to my peeps for breakfast and the taste of my favorite licorice jelly beans with my coffee sipping this morning. 😏

Well, at least it's sofa surfing #SofaSunday, and I beat her to the comfy couch for #myday of potato-ing #today. 💪

Happy #SofaSunday! Most days my brain is in gear. Today, it's not. I'm not feeling poorly, just not in any hurry to get anything done and happy I don't have to get up and out anywhere.

Since it's a sunny day and projected to be warmer than yesterday, I'm going to head outside and see how the plants have weathered last night's below-freezing temperatures. I'll spend the rest of the day avoiding the doom and gloom that's spun weekly on Sunday morning talk shows. Not today, Satan.

I'm starting #myday in the right mood, if not in the right way, yet #today.🥱

I'm kinda awake with the sunshine brightly shining on me. Not out sipping my coffee on my comfy couch, but still in my comfy bed instead. That counts on as proper sunday slouching, right?😜

In the spirit of the day, there's nothing but eventually rising n sipping and couch potato-ing planned for today. The sun is expected to hang around all day, but be breezy and on the cool side, maybe making it to 70deg today. 🤔

Welp, enough tooting. Gotta ponder on moving n maybe get myself up n do some coffee sipping or something.☕️👍

Good morning, y'all, and happy #SofaSunday. 👋

Kinda getting into #myday of sofa surfing sorta late #today.
When the sun rose up to say "rise n shine", I instead plopped over on my pillow to "think about it" a little longer. 😉

But, I've made it up n sitting with my cup and ready to begin my morning coffee sipping in the lovely morning sunshine. ☕️🌞

It's gonna be pretty much a repeat of yesterday, weather wise, ( and probably not doin' wise, too. 😉👌).
It's 58deg F at sitting, heading for 86deg F or so this afternoon, and the humidity high enough to signify a muggy-sticky, maybe. 93% to dew at 56deg. So yeah, we might just be a bit ick😏

But with such warmth presenting itself, after so much coolth, we are still going with open windows to whatever the soft breeze blows in today.😊

Other than the usual Sunday sofa sitting n coffee sipping and such, there's not very much else planned happening here. Maybe more movie watching with the wife n coolie munching, since she has found my stash.😠
But otherwise justa day of sofa surfing and taking it extra easy, as the day demands. 💪

Welp. Enough of all this tooting. Time for more in the sun sitting n coffee sipping.🫡
