Now remember Snorks ran for 5 seasons.

I had not previously looked up the history of Snorks, but it’s somewhat predictable.

There was a dispute over The Smurfs concerning the faithfulness of the animated series compared to the comics, and the associated rights.

So Snorks was created as an off-brand competitor by one of the businessmen involved.

It still ran for 5 seasons!
