The fourth #Russian tanker in a week has broken down near the #Kuril_Islands.

The #Mercury tanker with a crew of 19 people lost in the course in the #Pacific_Ocean due to the main engine stalling. The incident occurred 50 kilometres northeast of the island of #Simushir, part of the #Kuril_Islands, the #Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. According to the ministry, the vessel sent a signal for help to the marine rescue sub-center in #Petropavlovsk_Kamchatsky in the evening of
