Any software, workarounds, etc. to get SimplyE or Cloud Library audiobooks into mp3 or similar format?

I like #audiobooks. I get them from downpour.com and libraries. I love #downpour's DRM-free MP3 format. Libaries, however, are (I think) getting strongarmed by content farm companies: I can download Overdrive files as mp3 and listen at my leisure, without having to have an active WiFi (or worse, mobile) connection. But #SimplyE and #CloudLibrary are rent-seeking trash that won't let me time-shift or device-shift the books I'm checking out.

Is there a way to download these books as #MP3 or #FLAC or #OGG etc.?

hey, #librarian s!
i'm looking for #libraries that meet a certain set of criteria:

1. offer #free #library cards
2. have residency requirements that are
a. nonexistent or
b. broad enough that i'm eligible as a #pennsylvania (united states) resident.
3. offer #librarycard holders access to a variety of online #eLending and #research services. #lexusNexus would be incredible, but i'm kind of interested in anything i can get my hands on.

does anyone who uses #SimplyE and #Libby know why the same library card would show results in one app but not the other? i want to switch my NYC Pub library card to libby so i can just use that one bc the app is easier/SimplyE is buggy a lot/drops my holds etc, but i literally just looked for a book i currENTLY HAVE in SimplyE and it's not showing up as the library having it as a result in Libby and i can't imagine why?

I just installed #SimplyE and I'm browsing books!

After installing, you can opt to add a library later and start searching.

Wow!
