Sonic Wings / Aero Fighters (SNES, 1993)

No começo do mês, peguei um adaptador RCA / P2 e pude jogar Super Nintendo novamente. Finalizei Sonic Wings em coop com um amigo (no easy porque, de difícil, já basta a vida).

Jogamos com a equipe do Japão e lembrei de alguns detalhes: o tiro do FSX do Hien começa com o formato de shuriken (estrela ninja) e, depois do power up, vira uma kunai (que lembra uma ponta de lança). Além disso, a depender do país que você escolhe, o símbolo monetário dos pontos coletados nas "casinhas" muda: yen, dólar etc.

To my fellow #shump slash #stg fans! If you didn't know, we're finally getting a modern port of the Raiden Fighters collection! I've been waiting for this for so long. Selling my Xbox 360 copy was one of the dumbest decisions I've made. February 26th is the date! (It's also coming to PS5)

I just cleared the hardcore #shump #BIRDCAGE and I'm having trouble believing I did it. I've never beat a game like this before, and I didn't think I was good enough yet.

But somehow, I didn't tense up thinking about how hard this was and just reacted.

It feels like I'm having a religious moment where the grand epiphany was that I was good enough all along.

Late #SteamNextFest recommendation for #BIRDCAGE. It's a stylish #shump that pairs two firing modes with a powerful ship-mounted sword... and then clobbers you so hard you wonder if you were good at video games.

But! It's the kind of brutal challenge that feel yourself improving at, and even just beating the first level on normal, I was already proud.

Para o #SegundaFicha cujo tema é "Jogos de Nave", trago "R-Type III: The Third Lightning" (SNES, 1993/1994). É meu jogo favorito da franquia: 2D, com visão lateral, gráficos, trilha sonora e uma jogabilidade dignos de nota. No início do jogo, você pode escolher 3 dispositivos diferentes. Trata-se de um "módulo" que você manipula durante o jogo, deixando-o na frente ou atrás da nave e pode deixá-lo acoplado nela ou separado. Meu favorito era a "bolinha", o mais apelão de todos. E, quando você acha que o jogo não pode mais te surpreender, após enfrentar um "boss", a nave "engata marcha à ré" (!), aos 52 min e 47s:
