@datarama Whenever I examine it, I come back to parallels with the music industry, and how they turned something everyone loves into a distasteful mass produced product that is widely consumed by a small but profitable majority who does not actually care one way or the other about music but does generate revenue. :/ #shrug

Today I had to dig deep into my 20+-year-old Lego boxes (mostly leftovers, more like a graveyard than a treasure chest) to solve a very serious engineering problem. #shrug
Result: a surprisingly sturdy, very underrated Lego stand for my Heltec V4 Meshtastic node, complete with the chip and a whip antenna.
No 3D-printer nonsense, 100% childhood archaeology, questionable aesthetics, but excellent stability ! Just what I needed :)

@fedops The raspberry pi generates a "firstrun.sh" and launches it via kernel command line, to do wifi setup. Since NM now respects zero (0) hand editable files this is probably my best approach too. :/
(Or creating something less hackish but #shrug Text files were very pi friendly; this is kinda sad.)
