Essen | So heute habe ich mich mal vom Shepherd's Pie inspirierten lassen


OK es ist so ein Mittelding, aber vegan und total lecker. Dazu gab es eine leckere ebenfalls vegane braune Soße. Nur liegt es mir jetzt ziemlich heftig im Magen, im positiven Sinne. Ich bin bereit für ein Mittagsnickerchen.

We’re making shepherd’s pie for three kings this year.

I BBQ the lamb first and then chop it up. So I was out on the barbie in the rain and then spent a bunch of time deboning chops and cutting it all up (with lots of help). We now have a huge amount of filling ready to go.

Päätin kokeilla millainen shepherd's pie syntyisi jämämuusista, soijarouheesta ja Coopin pastakastikkeesta. Nyt tiedän: erinomainen. Tästä tulee vakkari.

Kuullotin valkosipulia ja paistoin rouheen öljyssä ennen vedellä jatketun kastikkeen lisäämistä. Muusiin lisäsin maitoa ja ranskankermaa jotta sain sen löysemmäksi.
