Hello everyone, is it just me or this file is inaccessible

after migration to another vps, I can't understand that why some of my file is permission denied, I checked the perm, and it's surely correct and I can upload this image, but can't view some of the old one. I'm running misskey in docker. The file is there when I search for it.

In the end, everyone from 1st level to instructor is just looking up #InstantAnswers on #ServerFault / #StackOverflow via #DuckDuckGo and/or reading #manpages and #documentation all the time.

  • Being able to quickly find the correct solution out of the reliable sources is the most important skill, not the ability to memorize every small parameter of every CLI tool there is...

@mcc Thanks. More than 10 years ago I found that building sufficient reputation to actually discuss things is toil (unless one asks very trivial questions in a new technology, of course - the more trivial the better).

They can keep what I wrote, but that's that. I've just deleted my profiles at #stackoverflow, #ServerFault, #AskUbuntu, Electrical Engineering and Meta Stack Exchange.

#Discord is worse than #Mailingists, #IRC and #Forums combined because those - like #GitHub #Issues or any other public site & server - can at least be #crawled and #archived in a #searchable fashion.

Whereas Discord is peak #Enshittification and not only #AntiAccessibility but also the worst kind of communication solution, as there isn't even any option to export stuff from within it - something even #Slack & #MicrosoftTeams can do [#Zulip has been able to do that from the start]...

Discord is a bad and wrong excuse not to provide #public documentation and/or downloads.

#GithubPages is free & #DDoS-protected #Webhosting and for fast downloads on the cheap, #BitTorrent exists for almost two decades now...

I mean, do people who use Discord know how many times people like me needed to use @internetarchive / #InternetArchive's #WaybackMachine to access contents?
How many hours of labour have been collectively saved by #DuckDuckGo #InstantAnswer linking to the correct #StackOverflow / #ServerFault thread??

Discord is an #InformationBlackHole and should be regarded with the same public accessibility as a intelligence agency's database: Don't use it and don't contribute to it - period!

Now that #CloudGlare have hijacked #serverFault, unix, #stackExchange, #askUbuntu and the entire StackOverflow family of sites, CloudGlare are more able to learn the types of work people might be doing.

Just more anti-competitive #monopolisation of the dumpster fire we can #theInternet.

We can't bomb CloudGlare datacenters, so a distributed #selfHealing system is needed.

As much as one can criticize #duckDuckGo for a lot of their search results being bad [don't use them for anything re: #trans #healthcare cuz they'll vomit up #transmisogynist #hate #propaganda] they at least know how to make their #InstantAnswers work and spit out the correct result to something from #StackOverflow / #ServerFault 97,5% of the time...
