#knittersofmastodon: looking for advice on the best #yarn to #knit a #babyblanket. Intended recipient has allergies; I'm not sure if that includes #wool #woolyarn but I definitely want to avoid a yarn that will shed or pile. Durability and washability are important. I'm still deciding on a #pattern, but I want to use two colours (maybe #selfstripingyarn), medium weight.

Probably #acrylicyarn? Recommendations or yarns to avoid?
