This album marked the moment when guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani (aka Satch) first came to prominence, and it was only his second studio release at the time! Renowned as a guitar god, Satriani has not only captivated audiences with his exceptional talent, but has also mentored other notable virtuosos, most significantly Steve Vai. Whilst this album, now decades old, may not represent his most accomplished guitar work in my opinion — though it remains remarkably impressive given his evolution since then — it boasts a wealth of striking and, crucially, memorable tracks. The cover artwork, featuring Marvel’s Silver Surfer, further enhances its allure. Standout tracks include the title piece, "Satch Boogie," "Crashing Day," "Echo," and my personal favourite, "Always With Me, Always With You." In hindsight, I believe this album still serves as an good introduction for those keen to delve into the captivating and flamboyant realm of Satriani’s guitar mastery. Amongst the many guitar virtuosos and shredders who specialise in instrumental rock, Satriani undoubtedly ranks in my top three. Whilst his style may not always venture as far "outside the box" as someone like Steve Vai, it is distinguished by its greater melodic sensibility.

Ich habe die alten #Satch #Schulrucksäcke in die Spülmaschine gesteckt (40° Gläserprogramm, vor dem Trocknen abschalten)
und auch wenn das schwieriger ist als mit den Scout Kastenranzen, die Wirkung ist super.
Man muss halt nachspülen und kopfüber abtropfen und dann in der Sonne austrocknen lassen. Aber das müsste ich beim Abschrubben und Abduschen ja auch.

K1 besucht ab nächstem Schuljahr die 5. Klasse und natürlich geht der alte #Schulranzen "gar nicht mehr" (da sind sich scheinbar alle einig). Ich möchte mich aber nicht der Übermacht der #Satch-Schulränzen beugen. Was empfehlt ihr für eine Marke? Soll natürlich ergonomisch und praktikabel und hübsch gleichzeitig sein.
