I don't normally do fan things, so I was surprised that I liked telling people about what I enjoy and why.

It does put me in a spot when writing RPGs because I really do find this system does most of what I want and it feels like reinventing the wheel doing other systems on my own. I can't ever come close to the thousands of pages.
