Update 2: So, as it turns out, the bit about White Wolf not using generative AI for art was a lie on their part; the new V5 book Tattered Façade clearly has generative AI images in it, and so, we're not going to trust another word from anyone at White Wolf, and neither should you.
Don't buy the WoD 5th Edition books, and don't waste your breath, or your eyes and ears on anything WoD5e-related.

Update: So, according to Jason Carl, White Wolf do not use generative AI for art, at least. Just Paradox Interactive requiring questions about Grammarly, a workflow tool that does have generative AI capabilities for text, in their job applications across the board.
Not nearly as bad, but still not great, that Paradox is forcing it in there, even if White Wolf creatives can just not use it.

After hearing about current White Wolf's hard pivot into generative AI, we're feeling all the more justified in our decision to not get more WoD 5e books, since seeing the art theft and all the other shit, even if we could.
From here on out, we're not going to bother with WoD5e, only WoD20th and Curseborne, unless White Wolf reverse course, shun the use of generative AI (and more generally, the theft of labor of real artists and writers) going forward, and purge it from previous releases.
We'll leave up the preg kink VtM5e homebrews, but we're not going to update them.
