I'm timelining the final book of my second trilogy #today and I needed to know how fast the dragons will fly to make sure everyone ends up in the right place at the right time.

Well! There's almost as many answers to that as there are stories with dragons in them, but the search result that really blew my mind was this one. Hats off to Anthony, whoever he is - this level of nerdiness is really impressive.

Today’s writing session on BOOK 3 begins with a poetry book by Paul Baumann II I bought in Seattle in the summer of 2019.

I use references often in my writing, drawing parallels between works of art, literature, and music to the lives of those in the futuristic Four Cities. I find they ground the characters and scenes—making them richer, more complex.
