Our GCC COBOL contributor/friend has been SUPER! We have been setting up our #requesttracker #RT ticketing system and adding tests to our UAT! Great progress on #gcobol technical support foundation.

Using COBOL? Let us know at info @ #cobolworx dot com.

Looking at another "enterprise" support desk solution which isn't as good as #RequestTracker.

How can it be that despite using RT for *23 years* I still trip over the same little UI bug every time it matters?
(“Enter” key refreshes the “People” view of a ticket without saving the changes made on it, unlike all the other pages)

#Sysadminnery and I guess #RequestTracker

I'm looking for recommendations for an open source ticketing/helpdesk system that I can run with docker on a shared host. Creating a ticket via email and multiple users are must haves. Tracking physical resources is a bonus. I used #RequestTracker back in the day, but would like to see what's out there now many years later. #OpenSource #helpdesk

Hahumm.

#enshittification eindeutig.

Suche findet einen communityfork, yay. Aber nee, Anfang 2023 stehen geblieben. Also auch tot.

Also doch wieder #requesttracker?

(Nein #Jira auf keinen Fall)

Welcome to Mastodon @jesse . I have multiple things to thank you for: I used #RequestTracker for both my own Open Source projects and at work at a previous job; I used and still do use #K9Mail , and I am a fan of ergonomic keyboards and briefly had a #Keyboardio. (Now using a #UHK). Glad to have you here!
Cloning a bunch of modules, keeping half an eye on things, and one of them scroll by, I misread as `rt-extension-activitypub`. Come to think of it, it would be pretty neat if #RequestTracker supported #ActivityPub.
It's been ages I installed #RequestTracker. Some things are still familiar, though.
